Overview

Imagine yourself…

lying on a hammock surrounded by lush forest looking up at the sky as dusk fades away to reveal the stars above. You’re tired… but a satisfying kind of tired. Your soul feels refreshed from laughter, play, rich conversation, and new friendships. You’re experiencing a deeper recognition of your unique personal magic. Welcome to Camp Souldust.

Camp Souldust is where the simplicity of summer camp meets a world of soulful exploration.

You’ll become part of our welcoming village of vibrant, curious souls united in an unplugged, joy-infused summer camp experience complete with cabins, camp counselors and s’mores by the campfire. We’ll make space to help you reclaim your soul’s calling under the forest canopy.

"Watch carefully, the magic that occurs, when you give a person just enough comfort to be themselves."

What makes Camp Souldust so special?

Coming to Camp is more than just packing a sleeping bag and a flashlight– it’s an opportunity to cozy up to soulful practices that have always piqued your curiosity. It’s an invitation to a new community who can’t wait to meet you. It’s a light to shine on all the best parts of yourself that time has swept into the corners. It’s the space you need to breathe when the day-to-day grind of life feels overwhelming.

Sacred Soul Work

Souldust believes that everyone and everything carries a touch of the sacred, and that we are fundamentally wired for deep connection with the extraordinary world that surrounds us. At Camp, there are workshops and experiences to help you connect to your inner mystic and inner child, ranging from woo-lite to woo-tastic, low-key to intensely transformative.

Shenanigans & Tomfoolery

We at Camp Souldust also heartily endorse the healing qualities of embracing our inner weirdo, with playful camp-style activities and general silly vibes all weekend long. Every cabin comes equipped with its own mascot (are you a unicorn or a bear?) as well as one fun-obsessed counselor-slash-ringleader to instigate impromptu shenanigans all weekend long.

Community is the Heart of Camp

Without fail, something stunning happens at every Camp. An amazeballs crew of goofy + soulful gorgeously human beings show up, ready to change the world with compassion, laughter and deep connection.

If you’re a solo traveler, you will bask in the warmth that permeates the group.  If you’re dealing with emotions or challenges, you’ll delight in the support. No matter what your situation, beautiful and unexpected friendships and connections will emerge.

Being around these wonderfully real people (like you) makes it surprisingly easy to relax, be yourself, and be present with all the beautiful and tough parts of life. In short, you find belonging. Want to hear from a few? Check out the video.

CONNECTION. INTUITIVE ART. MOVEMENT. SACRED RITUALS. DEEP CONVERSATION.
SELF-LOVE. COMMUNITY. JOURNALING. MEDITATION. CANDLELIGHT. STARLIGHT.
BELLY LAUGHS. CAMPFIRES. HIKING. 20 PIECES OF FLAIR. ARCHERY. YOUR PEOPLE.

A Day in the Life

7:30 AM.  Early riser? Wake up and shake it out in an optional Rise & Shine workshops such as meditation, hiking, or ecstatic dance.  At 8:30 AM, grab a nourishing breakfast, where you can bond with other campers over a cup of coffee, or three!

10:00 AM. Dive into a workshop with our soulful + playful community of talented teachers, who will help you dust off your soul and open your mind.

12:30 PM. By now you’ve worked up an appetite, so head in with your fellow campers for a lunch to sooth your palate, body and soul. Got allergies? We’ve got you covered.

2:00 PM. Another workshop, more time to explore new aspects of yourself. Dig into in experiences that nudge your comfort zone or sooth your spirit. After, it’s all about relaxation, love and collaboration. Sign up for a massage, color a masterpiece, join a friendly competition, or simply wander the trails.

5:30 PM. Dinner time! Need we mention the delicious food again? Fill your belly, then break for an hour or two to take a nap, engage in conversation, or participate in a mixer.

8:00 PM. Grab your coat and meet us by the campfire, where we’ll sing, play and eat s’mores. After, you may opt to join a late Night Owl workshop such as a moon ceremony. Then, we’ll all head off to our cozy bunks, dreaming of another soul-lifting day.

“Words I would use to describe Camp: Spiritual, magical, enlightening, challenging, granola, grown-up summer camp, awe inspiring, peaceful, earthy. Wherever did so many different yet the same people find a path to each other? It’s an awesome feeling to be so free from conventional life. Ahhhhh…”

Debra H., Camp Souldust 2017 camper

“Camp Souldust has made me realize that there are other people like me in the world… a magical place where everyone is warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental. I feel better about myself and have more confidence. Can’t wait to go back.”

The Lodging

About the Venue

We’ll spend our weekend together at Camp Burton Camp & Conference Center, a traditional summer camp located on idyllic Vashon Island, Washington. Borded by 64 acres of conservation forest with quiet wooded trails, Camp Burton offers a peaceful environment for growth and relaxation.

If you’ve been to summer camp, your nostalgia will go into overdrive.

Nestled in the shores of the beautiful Puget Sound, Camp Burton is an easy 10-20 minute ferry ride from either Seattle, Tacoma, or Kitsap County (Southworth), and a 3.5 hour drive from Portland, OR.

Camp Burton is located on the land of the Puget Sound Salish, and Vashon Island is today considered one of the traditional homes of The Puyallup People who call themselves S’Puyalupubsh, “a people who are generous and welcoming to all people (friends and strangers) who enter our lands.”

More than just an escape from the daily grind, Camp Souldust is a safe space for you to show up and be loved - exactly as you are.
