Overview

Imagine yourself…

on a floating dock in the middle of a sparkling lake looking up at the sky as dusk fades away to reveal the stars above. You’re tired… but a good kind of tired, where you’ve expended energy refreshing your soul with laughter, movement, s’mores, new friends and a deeper understanding of your own personal magic. Welcome to Camp Souldust.

Making space for joy

Camp Souldust is where the simplicity of the summer camp meets a world of soulful exploration. You’ll become part of our group of vibrant, glorious, curious souls united in an analog, magic-infused experience complete with cabins, camp counselors and s’mores. We’ll make space to help you unearth your soul’s calling right under the forest canopy.

A world apart, close to home

Camp Souldust is held at a beautiful, authentic, and rustic summer camp with all of the amenities, tucked into the woods on the shores of Puget Sound. Just one hour from Seattle, our 4 day, 3 night camp combines the abandoned joy of traditional summer camp goodness with exploration of subjects like chakras, yoga, sound and forest bathing, breath work, animal guides and so much more.

CONNECTION. SACRED ART. MOVEMENT. RITUALS. DEEP CONVERSATION. SELF-LOVE. COMMUNITY.
JOURNALING. MEDITATION. CANDLELIGHT. STARLIGHT.
BELLY LAUGHS. CAMPFIRES. HIKING. 20 PIECES OF FLAIR. ARCHERY. YOUR PEOPLE.

The Experience

What makes Camp Souldust so special?

Coming to Camp is more than just packing a sleeping bag and a flashlight– it’s an opportunity to cozy up to soulful practices that have always piqued your curiosity. It’s an invitation to new community who can’t wait to meet you. It’s the space you need to breathe when the daily needs of others feels overwhelming.

It’s a light to shine on all the best parts of yourself that time has swept into the corners. It’s a light that shines on everyone— we’re all about inclusivity. People of all ages, genders, races, religions, and backgrounds are welcome at Camp Souldust.

Sacred Soul Work

Souldust believes that everyone and everything carries a touch of the sacred, and that our souls are fundamentally wired for deep connection with the extraordinary world that surrounds us. At Camp, there are workshops and experiences to help you connect to your inner mystic and change maker, ranging from woo-lite to woo-tastic, low-key to intensely transformative.

Shenanigans & tomfoolery

While soul work is vital and healing, Camp Souldust is also about having a gloriously silly and playful time, with summer camp style group activities and workshops, and general good vibes and laughter all around. Every cabin comes equipped with its own mascot (are you a unicorn or a bear?) as well as one fun-obsessed counselor-slash-ringleader to instigate organized and impromptu play all weekend long.

Meet your soul collective

Without fail, something stunning happens at every Camp. The group who shows up are that amazeballs combination of goofy + soulful gorgeously human beings ready and able to change the world with laughter, compassion and deep connection. When you are around these totally weird and wonderfully real people (like you), it becomes surprisingly easy to just relax, be yourself, and be present with all the beautiful and tough parts of life. In short, you find belonging.

"Of all the paths in life you take, make sure a few of them are dirt."

A Day in the Life

camp

Wakey, wakey, sleepy heads!

7:30 AM

Early riser? Wake up and shake it out by joining our optional Rise & Shine workshops ranging from activities like yoga to hiking to dance.  At 8:30, grab a nourishing breakfast in the lodge, where you can bond with other campers (over a cup of coffee or three, obviously! Or maybe hot chocolate is more your style?).

10:00 AM

Get engaged in a Souldust-approved workshop with our soulful + playful community of talented teachers from across the spectrum of woo, who will help you dust off your soul and open your mind. Or, keep it nostalgic with a jump into a classic camp activity like archery or the climbing wall.

Your first break is after the workshop, where you can schedule an optional private session (think reiki, massage, tarot and more), or grab a buddy (new or old!) and head down to the beach to chill out or paddle a canoe across the glassy waters of the Puget Sound. Did we mention the bright red slide on the dock?  Oh yeah.

12:30 PM

By now you’ve worked up an appetite, so head in with your fellow campers for a lunch to sooth your palate, belly and soul. Got allergies? We’ve got you covered. Camp Souldust’s campers range from standard-issue diets to ultra-sensitive and specific food plans. No matter your needs, this is a place to delight all your senses.

Afternoon delight, evening wind down.

2:00 PM

Your afternoon workshop allows time to explore new aspects of yourself (sacred crafts anyone?) and dig into things that you’ve always been curious about but weren’t sure where to start.

After the afternoon workshop, it’s all about relaxation, love and collaboration. You may decide this is a good time for a private session, or maybe you’ll get fired up to participate in a cabin competition or group event. Or, maybe it’s the perfect time to socially unplug for a moment and take a private wander through the woods.

Some favorite free time options at Camp Souldust 2017 included our love letter station where you can write notes of encouragement and admiration to fellow campers as well as those in need via the More Love Letters project, as well as the coloring station. Every couch was filled with bookworms curled up in scarves and Souldust hoodies, every table covered in steaming mugs of herbal tea and journals. On the other end of the spectrum?  The in-the-treetops big swing was also a a popular choice for kicking energy up a notch!

5:30 PM

Dinner back in the lodge – need we mention the delicious food again?  After dinner, break for an hour or two to watch the sun set, have a private session, or acquire some goodies in the irresistible camp store. It’s also a great time to knock out your dare list and earn some Souldust flair via completing easy challenges.

8:00 PM

Grab a coat and meet us down by the campfire where we’ll sing, play and eat tasty s’mores.  Afterwards, you may opt to join a late Night Owl workshop like a moon ceremony on the beach.  Then, we’ll all head off to bed for another soul-lifting day with your new pack of friendlies.

“This was an absolutely incredible, potentially life altering, amazing experience in a deeply beautiful setting, a chance to reconnect to your childlike self and to connect with other phenomenal people, an opportunity to check out of the hustle and bustle and check into your heart, mind, body and soul… and to connect and share with and learn from other beautiful souls. Camp connected me back to my spiritual side and helped me release some sadness and anxiety from 20 years ago.”

Spring C., Camp Souldust 2017 teacher

“Camp Souldust is soul rejuvenation. I needed a community that feels the same way I do and I found it here.”

Karen T., Camp Souldust 2017 camper

“Words I would use to describe Camp: Spiritual, magical, enlightening, challenging, granola, grown-up summer camp, awe inspiring, peaceful, earthy. I had such a beautiful experience at Souldust. It was very interesting to see the wide range of personalities in the campers and share the journey with like-minded…..weird people.Wherever did so many different yet the same people find a path to each other? Kismet. I have a long way to go on my discovery journey and Souldust was but another step in the right direction. It’s an awesome feeling to be so free from conventional life. Ahhhhh…”

Debra H., Camp Souldust 2017 camper

“Camp Souldust brought me in closer contact with my intuition, and provided a safe warm space for me to exercise listening to my inner ‘yes and ‘no’s.”

Meia G., Camp Souldust 2017 camper

About the Venue

We’ll spend our weekend together at Camp Colman, a youth summer camp located on the Case Inlet in lower Puget Sound. Since 1912, its protected salt water lagoon, shoreline and 100 densely forested acres have offered a rich environment for people to learn about themselves, their surroundings and living in a community.

If you’ve been to summer camp before, your nostalgia will go into overdrive.

Set on a quiet + private wooded hillside, Camp Colman is equipped with all of the usual summer camp amenities and playful delights. Join us in the Lodge for morning yoga, or paddle peacefully in a canoe on the inlet. Meet new friends around the campfire, or take a quiet hike on the Blue Heron Trail.  The opportunities for growth and relaxation are endless.

Conveniently situated on the Key Peninsula, Camp Colman is an easy 60-90 minutes driving distance from Seattle, Tacoma and Olympia. The address is 20016 Bay Rd KPS, Longbranch, Washington (directions).
