What is Intuitive Collage?
The Intuitive Collage workshop teaches you a creative, soul-stirring
approach to connecting with your inner voice.
You’ve done a typical vision board right? Cut & paste a masterpiece of words and images to represent the goals and dreams you want to achieve. Resolutions for the year! The dream house! The juicy relationship with Jason Momoa’s doppelganger! Or, Jason Momoa. Greek island life, with your gorgeous yoga-toned body in a bikini! Surrounded by a sea of inspirational words and quotes, of course. Yes? Me too. It can be a powerful manifestation tool. That’s not what we’re doing.
A Vision Board, Inside Out.
Whether or not you’ve experienced a vision board, we will spend the day turning them inside out – rather than intentionally focusing on images of whatever goals or aspirations you might want to manifest, you will learn how to tap into your instinct and uncover what your soul truly craves, what stories are needing to be told, what parts of you need to be seen. These techniques can help you deepen understanding of yourself, leading to a richer life. Be prepared for surprises as your collages emerge from within!
Connect With Hidden Knowing.
This workshop covers basic intuitive collage techniques, and then goes deeper into understanding the hidden language and symbolism we all carry within, on both an individual and collective ancestral level. We’ll play with multiple practices for using collage to go more deeply within yourself for answers and insights.
” I found this exercise to be an incredibly effortless way to peel back the layers of pretense and see and articulate different aspects of myself in a way I wouldn’t have otherwise.” – Megan S.
“Intuitive collage has become a part of my whole being. I find myself needing it most when my head is cluttered and heart, shuttered. Upon completion of a small page, my soul feels heard, and mentally I am clearer to carry on about living, having wiped off the fog.” – Samantha S.
“This workshop was about telling my mind and my mouth to take some time off and let my heart and subconscious do some talking” – Stephanie S.
This Workshop Covers…
- The difference between a vision board and intuitive collage
- Tapping into your instinctive self through basic collage practices
- Interpreting what’s simmering in your subconscious
- Supporting others’ interpretations, letting intuition lead the way
- The symbolic languages of color, shape, animals and more
- How pattern, repetition & placement inform the collage message
- Trusting your instinct in working with these visual soul stories
No artistic talent or experience needed, just a willingness to explore and play! In fact, it’s important to understand that this is NOT a fine art workshop, instead it is about learning a surprisingly easy, fun and creative tool for connecting with your innate wisdom.
All participants will leave with handouts, multiple completed collages + the start of an intuitive collage journal. A variety of collage surfaces, including a Souldust mini journal, will be provided in addition to magazines, scissors, adhesives, and marking tools. Feel free to bring additional magazines or other visual material to collage for yourself or for sharing.
Your registration also includes beverage service– coffee, tea, water, etc.. You are free to bring your own snacks if you think you’ll get hungry before we finish. There is a kitchen on site.
Souldust Founder + Shenanigans Ringleader
Your guide for the day is Rachel Ford, founder of Souldust. Rachel is a nerd for intuition + alchemy. She loves witnessing people waking up to the messages AND waking up to– remembering– who they are and owning their magical superpowers. She shares practices she has used in both personal and professional settings, leveraging mindfulness and intuition for decades as a software executive and full-on solo mom. Following the signs has led her to amazing experiences, opportunities and relationships, as well as clearing space for growth and healing.
In her role leading Souldust, Rachel is obsessed with building a community of humans willing to see and be seen, listen and be heard– a community that welcomes in all walks of life with open arms and hearts.
